Getting to Know Dibby Wolfe
The youngest of three, Dibby grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Shortly after graduating from high school, she went on to attend college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. After college, Dibby moved to Washington D. C. It was in this city she went on to work for the FBI. Two years passed, and Dibby transferred to D.C. where she also worked for the FBI. With a temporary job working for Yale University, she headed off to New York for 6 months. After that, Dibby joined the State Department. So, it was back to Washington D. C. where she lived in George Town for one year.
Just A Girl Who Decided to GO FOR IT…
After traveling to Malibu California to be in her best friends wedding, Dibby decided she loved California. So, she moved to San Francisco, CA. It was in this city where she worked for an advertising agency, and also the place she met her husband Duane.
A Beautiful Family…
Dibby and Duane have been married for 57 years and have three children. Duane Jr., Lisa and Mendy who all have academic careers. Duane Jr. and Lisa are teachers and Mendy is in college management.
What She Loves To Do…
TRAVEL! Her favorite trip was to Europe with the whole family for six weeks in 1982. She also greatly enjoys tennis, painting, Bible studies, walking, music, and exercise.
Volunteer Work
She did volunteer work at The Children’s Hospital in San Francisco, school with the PTA, Girls Scouts and continues to volunteer at church.
