Chateau’s Dining Room offers gracious restaurant dining, including daily lunch and dinner specials, an extensive a la carte menu, Lite Fare menu, a monthly wine list, Champagne Sunday Brunch, and daily Breakfast. Room service is also available. Chef Damaso Lee brings his culinary expertise to Chateau La Jolla with a menu inspired by fresh local ingredients and a commitment to providing healthy options. Chef Damaso mastered his craft as Executive Chef at La Jolla’s famed Trattoria Acqua.

The La Jolla Community Center offers a wealth of social, cultural and educational opportunities to enrich the lives of their membership. If you like Jazz, Opera, Art, Bridge or Yoga, the Community Center has something for you.

Pets are like family here at Chateau La Jolla. Many of our amenities are what enable our residents to feel truly at home, including pet-friendly accommodations, private event rooms for friendly get-togethers and family traditions.
From spacious apartment homes to community outings, at Chateau La Jolla we want our residents to experience what it feels like to be home.
Age in Place
As a locally family-owned company for forty plus years, all rules, regulations, and procedures are decided on the local level. We believe it serves our residents in a more compassionate manner. One of these philosophies is what we call “Aging in Place”. It’s a simple concept, but one that is unavailable in most communities. It means you can get the services you need without having to move to a higher level of care.
How Long Can I Stay?
Chateau La Jolla has services and support systems to keep your loved one in their apartment if they are safe and comfortable, and their needs are met. We have partnered with specialized providers to make care options available, which gives our residents and their families the flexibility they may want/need. They can receive home care, home health care, hospice, and physician visits in the comfort of their apartment or in our “Clinic.”
Will I Have to Move?
You will only need to move if you cannot secure the services and care you need in your apartment. We will refer you and/or your family to other options in the San Diego area.
